Course Name: Work safely in the construction industry – “Whitecard”
Course Aim: The "Whitecard" course is an induction program designed as a preparatory program prior to entry to a building and construction workplace in compliance with statutory requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.

Course Duration:              6 hours (face to face)

Course Content:            
The aim of the “Whitecard” course is to provide initial basic health and safety education to persons working in the building and construction industry. It covers the following:
  1. Legislative requirements and responsibilities
  2. Basic concepts of workplace health and safety plans and work methods statements
  3. Physical building and construction hazards
  4. Basic risk management concepts 
  5. Hazard reporting
  6. Common hazards of the construction industry
